Open it again and try drawing on a new canvas. Click on "OK" and completely close out of SAI2. One says "Use WinTab API", another says "Use WinTab API with Ver.1 Compatible Method", and the last one says "Use Windows API". Step 2: Once you have SAI2 all up and running (you have to make a new license for it, you can't use a previous SAI license) go to Other -> Options and you'll see some radio buttons. Please switch to a newer version of SAI to be able to use more modern hardware with the program. SAI1 came out all the way back in 2008, and does not have support for modem technology like using Windows Ink for drawing on a 2-in-1 laptop. Step 1: Make sure you're using SAI2, not SAI1. Here's a fix for all of you who are having this problem.
If you have a laptop with a touchscreen and a stylus that draws on the screen, you've probably had pressure sensitivity or stabilizer problems while trying to use SAI.
